1887 - Jeffrey Manufacturing Established

1896 - Whitney Chain established

1962 - Jeffrey moves to Morristown, TN

1974 - Dresser buys Jeffrey Chain

1985 - Jeffrey goes private

1986 - Stockton warehouse

1996 - Management buy-out

2000 - Renold plc aquires Jeffrey Chain

2004 - National Service Center in Hebron, KY
